Founded

Yutaka Beauty Chemical Co., Ltd. was established in Higashi-yodogawa, Osaka for the purpose of manufacturing and selling hair cosmetics (cold perms and shampoos, etc.), together with the factory.

1965

Corporate Name to MILBON

Changed the corporate name to Milbon Co., Ltd. and moved the headquarters to Asashi, Osaka in the following month.

1969

Establishment of Ueno Factory

Established Ueno First Factory as a full-scale factory in Ueno City, Mie Prefecture (currently Iga City, Mie Prefecture), and closed Kire Factory.

1984

Beginning of Field Person Strategy

Opened a training center in Miyakojima-ku, Osaka. Started the Field Person Strategy (first-batch joined the company)

Beginning of TAC Product Development System

Started MILBON's original TAC Product Development System.

Listed on First Section of Tokyo Stock Exchange

Listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2000, Designated as the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2001.

Established MILBON USA, INC. (Currently a consolidated subsidiary) in New York.

Established Yumegaoka Plant in Iga City, Mie Prefecture.

Launched Aujua, a System Hair Care Brand born from Japanese culture and hair characteristics.

Established MILBON (THAILAND) CO., LTD. and Production Plant in Thailand.
